• Are You Hiring?

Yes, we are always hiring whether you’re looking for part time or full time hours. Fill out the form on our website under "Nannies and Sitters" and “want to join our team” tab. 

 

• What are your nannies / sitters qualifications?

The Sister Sitters have amazing, dedicated nannies and sitters that have all passed our high standards. All nannies and /or sitters are a minimum of 18 years old. They have been interviewed, passed a background check, a clean driving record, a minimum of 2 years of verified experience or professional training in the childcare industry and are CPR / First Aid certified.

• Can I talk to my sitter before they arrive?

You will be in contact with your sitter before their scheduled arrival. We will also provide you with a picture and biography.

• Can I request the same sitter each time? 

Of course! We will do our best to arrange the same sitter each time. Please provide as much notice as possible to help arrange the same sitter. We do love all of our sitters, so you can never go wrong! 

• Do I always need to reserve babysitters through The Sister Sitters?

Yes, all reservations must be booked directly with The Sister Sitters. The nannies and sitters have agreed to not work for any client outside of The Sister Sitters. The sitters respect their jobs and agreements, we hope you will too.

• What area do you service? 

The Sister Sitters services Orlando, Florida. 
 

• What are your hours of operation?

Our hours of operation are 8:00AM-12:00AM. While we are more than happy to accommodate your family around the clock, we will have an up charge of $5/hr outside of business hours. 

While we would love to provide care for your children on holidays, we also want our team to be able to spend the day with their loved ones. Which means we will be closed the following holidays; New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. 
 

   •Is there a cancellation policy?

Yes, to be considerate of our sitters time, we have implemented the following cancellation policy:

At the time of booking we require a 50% deposit to secure your date, time and sitter. The remaining 50% will be paid after the service is provided. 

If the client cancels 6 days or more prior to the service, the deposit will be refunded. If the client cancels within 5 days of your booking your deposit is non-refundable. 

• Do you provide any activities during your service?

Yes! Each sitter will bring a bag of age appropriate toys and activities for your child to keep them entertained.

• Do you have a loyalty program/membership?

For each family that refers another family to The Sister Sitters you will receive $10 off your next service!

• What service do I need?

We are here to help for all of your childcare needs! Here's a quick rundown of what we provide. We are open to customizing a service completely up to you and your family. No matter what service you choose, we provide safe, reliable, childcare, full of fun adventures, exploring, and activities. We always do a light clean up. 

Do you work full-time and need a nanny to join your family? We would love to find you a nanny that is a perfect fit for your family and needs. 

Local to Orlando? If your looking to go on a date night or are looking to run some errands we are here for all of our local Orlando families. 

Need an extra set of hands at a theme park? Whether you need your sitter to push the stroller, watch the kids while you go on an adult ride, grab meals for the kids, or capture all the special moments that you get to experience while at the theme park, we are here to make every moment magical! 

Looking for a date night at your resort / hotel? We know that traveling with kids can be stressful and you want to enjoy time with your spouse, so go on a date night and your sitter will come straight to your room. Our sitters know all the great spots to explore on the property. Our sitters will also bring a bag of age appropriate toys and activities to entertain and engage in. 

Traveling into Orlando for a conference and need childcare? Our sitters are able to come to your resort / hotel and either explore the property or can go to kid-friendly activity in the surrounding area. 

Planning the wedding of your dreams? Or traveling in for a wedding and need someone to hang back with your child? We know that your big day can be full of stress but we want to assure you that we can take help to take away a piece of that stress by entertaining your child and making them feel special on your big day. We can customize a package that works best for your needs. If you want your children to hang back from the wedding we are able to create a safe, and fun environment at your hotel and make sure your children get a good night sleep as you are enjoying your night! 
 

• What if I need a babysitter for less than 3 hours?

There is a non-negotiable 3-hour minimum.

• Can you watch my kids at a local theme park? (Disney, SeaWorld, Universal)

Yes, absolutely! We would love to be an extra set of hands to make your day magical! 

• Do I tip my nanny?

Tipping is greatly appreciated, but not expected. Your generous tip will go 100% to your nanny. Please let us know after your service how much you would like to tip. 

• Are there any additional fees?

To have a babysitter or nanny through The Sister Sitters, there are no additional "agency" fees. You pay for the hourly rate of the service being provided. 

If booking a service within a 48 hour timeframe, there will be a $20 service fee added to accommodate your need for a sitter. 

Any additional fees such as theme park/resort parking, ticketed events such as after hours/holiday events are required to be covered by the family. You are not required to purchase meals/snacks for your sitter, but if you are booking long days it would be greatly appreciated! 

• How will the sitter be paid?

After the shift, you will complete a close out sheet with your sitter to confirm the time you returned and we will pay the sitter on your behalf.
